Getting a better understanding of the physical world by mathematical modeling of its behavior is a common practice in engineering. While mathematical modeling necessitates simplification, it’s the only way to cope with the increasing complexity in today’s systems. However, systematic approaches in engineering are the basis for most of the modern products.
Mathematical modeling based on physics and/or measurement data have a long tradition at IMST. Creating component models for active and passive electronic elements by electromagnetic fields and circuits analysis are a regularly business at IMST.
